I'm not a real estate mogul with 50 properties. I'm not going to show you screenshots of my bank account or tell you about the millions I've made flipping houses.
Here's what I actually am
Someone who understands why smart, capable people stay stuck. Not because they're lazy or uninformed, but because there's a gap between knowing what to do and trusting themselves to do it.

I have a background in psychology, counseling, and community psychology—over a decade of formal training in understanding how people change and what keeps them from changing.

And I fell in love with real estate investing as a vehicle for building the kind of financial security and freedom that most people only dream about.
So I created Impetus Ambition to do something different
Address what actually stops aspiring investors (fear, self-doubt, endless researching) while partnering with real practitioners for the technical knowledge.
Not another hype-filled program. Just honest guidance for people ready to stop researching and start doing.

My Story
From a young age, I was driven by the power of community, the joy of education, and the belief that mentorship could change a life.​ My formal training reflects this: BS in Psychology with a Minor in Social Work. Master's in Counseling. PhD Candidate in Community Psychology.​
I quickly discovered that it was more than just property; it was a powerful engine for opportunity, a classroom for financial education, and a tangible way to build a legacy.​ But here's what I also discovered: knowing about real estate investing and actually doing it are two completely different things.
After six months of "still researching," it became pretty clear what was actually happening: I was terrified, and research felt productive even though it was just procrastination with a spreadsheet.
The gap between intention and action. The psychology of fear and decision-making. The way smart people sabotage themselves with perfectionism disguised as thoroughness.​ I realized I could keep researching forever, or I could apply what I actually knew about human behavior to my own situation—and then help others do the same.
For so many, the dream of building a legacy feels out of reach simply because they don't know where to begin—or more accurately, because fear makes the beginning feel impossible.
I didn't pursue these degrees for credentials on a wall. I pursued them because I'm fascinated by why people who know better don't do better—and how to help them bridge that gap.​ Along the way, my own journey led me to a world I hadn't expected to fall in love with: real estate.
I'd bookmark properties on Zillow. Screenshot listings. Create spreadsheets with color-coded cells. Read every review of every real estate agent in my area. And then I'd do it all over again the next week. And the week after that.​ A friend would ask "So did you call an agent?" and I'd say "Not yet, I'm still researching."
​I had the knowledge. I had the ambition. But I also had that voice in my head saying "who am I to do this?"​ And that's when something clicked. This wasn't an information problem. This was exactly what I'd spent years studying.
By combining my passion for guiding people with the immense potential of real estate, I realized my true purpose wasn't just to be an expert in property investing, but to be a mentor and an educator—helping others discover the opportunities that had changed my perspective on building wealth.
